  • Studied and graduated from Eötvös Loránd University, Budapest in 1991.
  • Holds a degree from TMC Asser Instituut in The Hague, a diploma from Queen Mary and Westfield College of the University of London in International Law of Trade, and a diploma [MU1] in EU law from the University of Glamorgan.
  • Lecturer and at the Civil Procedure Department of Eötvös Loránd University, since 1992, holding the position of Honorary Professor of Law h.c. since 2015.
  • Co-lecturer of International Commercial Arbitration at the Asser College Europe, The Hague, for over a decade.
  • Member and chapter Head of the codification board for the Hungarian Code of Civil Procedure.
  • Employed as an Associate at leading IP law firm, and as Partner at major independent commercial law firm in Budapest.
  • Head of the Corporate Disputes practice of the international law firm Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer in Hungary from 2003 until 2007.
  • A Founding Partner of Oppenheim and Head of its Dispute Resolution practice.
  • Frequently acts as an arbitrator.
